Kick Mic is designed to capture the true sound of a bass drum. With fast attack, a clear sound, and the power of the low end that provides the thump of the kick drum. From our initial look, the Kick Mic seems to do exactly what the name suggests.
Kick Mic maintains its polar pattern integrity down to critical frequencies (50Hz) where a kick drum’s core energy is generated – eliminating low-frequency buildup, phase issues caused by reflections, and muddy sound.
Through innovative acoustic engineering and physics, KC608 capsule’s single-diaphragm design captures the complete kick drum. This delivers superior transient response, natural timbral balance, and musical dynamics from ghost notes to full hits.
Kick Mic’s physical size allows it to fit through the port hole or be mounted inside the bass drum. The swivel mount adjusts more than 180 degrees, and its repositionable handle allows you to streamline the physical space it occupies.
